With an emphasis on lines and surfaces, as opposed to the X-Series’ organic curves, the resulting Y shape, from which the YB name derives, is obtained by the system’s asymmetric driver positioning.
The newly upgraded YB Mk II contains new crossover and cabling and it's now coming in the same marble based composite cabinet for a quality of sound that immerses the listener in both the technical brilliance and the emotional ebb and flow of the audio experience.
With their asymmetrical design, the Estelon Model YB speakers are a prime example of a functional design approach. The cabinets are molded from a marble based composite material and shaped to optimize sound quality. The placement of the drivers in the cabinet is also well thought out: the mid-woofer is positioned above the beryllium driver to minimize sonic reflections from the floor. The wider speaker base accommodates the bass driver with aluminum diaphragm. Since the woofers are angled towards each other, they can be placed close to a wall even in smaller rooms without having to cope with overlapping sound.
The Estelon Forza, which personifies technologies trickled-down from the Extreme (Estelon’s ultimate flagship model), was introduced in 2019 and has already received much worldwide recognition and numerous awards. Estelon is now releasing a special Anniversary Edition that is limited in production to a total of 10 pairs. It features a combination of Black Pearl Gloss and Gold accents highlighting its elegant curves, presenting a truly luxurious finish.
